General rules of all competition :

1. All the Participants must be a student of Senior/Vocational High School In
JABODETABEK.
2. Participants must be willing to obey the rules that committee has made while
participating in the competition.
3. The participants must wear their very own school uniform.
4. The registration form must be registered with/or including the fee before April 23th
and must include the copy of their Student ID Card with the hard copy of their
competition texts (only for speech, storytelling,& news report) and hand it over to
the committee.
5. The registration will be held on April 9th until April 23th
6. The registration fee for each participant is: Rp. 150.000,-.It must be fully paid
before1st May or else the participant will be getting extra charge of 30k. Another
special promotion for school who sends more than 1 participant for general
competition will get a discount until 25%/person and the registration fee will be: Rp.
113.500,-/person. (as long as the promotion still valid) The final date for
registration/the last registration will be on April 24th.
7. The technical meeting will be held on April 23th at SMAN 7 BEKASI starting from
09:00 A.m finish. The second technical meeting will be informed in the first
tehnical meeting on April 23th.
8. Each school would only be allowed to send maximal 2 participants for each contest
category (with the different texts).
9. The participants must attend the opening ceremony at 7am and must attending the
competition room 15 minutes before the competition started.
10. The participants must fill the re-registration form before the competition started.
11. The committee will provide microphone in each competition room.
12. Judges estimation result is absolute, inviolable and can not be changed.
13. Winner consisting of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. And the rest participants will get a
certficates.
14. Judges comes from parties that competence at its area each according to criterion
estimation upon.
15. Estimation is done at the time and place that coincides.

Schedule and contest's performing place:

1. The schedule determined by the committee of Seven English Competition 2016 by
points on vulnerable time or schedule and activity steps already at committee
determinative.

2. The performing place at SMAN 7 Bekasi (Jl. Lingkar Tata Kota, Kec.
Jatisamourna, No. 107 Kota Bekasi 17433).

Making Poster

General Rules :
1. Participants must be a student of Senior/Vocational High Schol
2. Maximum 2 (two) participants for each school.
3. Judges desicion is absolute and inviolable
4. Prohibited to break/distract/steal the school facilities
5. Every participant should be present punctually (at least 15 minutes before the
competition starts) we do not compromise with all of the lateness.
6. Participants can choose the following topics/theme for their poster:
a) Beauty of Indonesia
b) Picturing Indonesia culture
c) Natural Wildlife
d) Cultural ceremony

Rules:
1. Each participant should wear their school uniform during the contest.
2. The creation must be original
3. Pornography, RERI (Religion, Ethnicity, Race, Inter-group relations), slangy and
swearing words also proactive graphics are prohibited
4. Time given to draw poster is 3 hours (including colouring)
5. Poster material must be in English

6. Poster made by rules:

a. Poster media is made up the stairs book paper draws standard who will provide
committee.
b. Poster measure is A3's criterion (Potrait or Landscape).
c. Design is poster that is adjusted and bases of one of theme already be
determined.
d. Poster makings shall chromatic (fullcolour).
e. Poster can appear or most reads clearly minimal deep distance 3 meters.
f. Don't utilize significant as tissue and sterofoam.

7. No copy of any kind of references are allowed

8. You will be drawing in A3 drawing paper (portrait/landscape) the paper will be given
by committee
9. Poster must be coloured (with crayon)
10. Disobedient of rules will decrease points
11. The criteria of score:
a. Overall impact : 10
b. Clarity : 15
c. Appropriateness : 35
d. Creativity : 20
e. Neatness of drawing : 15
f. Drawing technique : 10
g. Time : 5

Speech Contest;

The Rules:

1. Participants must bring 1 copy of original speech text (self made ) in English with the
determined topic.
2. Participants must submit 3 copies of their texts to the committee during the re-registration
with the provision of :
1. text must be typed: font 14, space 1,5 Arial with A4 paper size
2. the title must be on font 16
3. On the right hand corner will be written the name of the
participant, school SMA/SMK and the topic choice.
3. The competition consists of a rounds which is preliminary round and final round
4. Topic to choose :
a. Enterprises youth to culture Indonesia
b. Indonesia Culture
c. How to revive Indonesian culture tradition
5. The participants will be called 3 times
6. If the participants do not come after being called for the 3 time , then they will
automatically be placed on the last order and will be called again 3 times.
7. If the participants still does not come without clear clarification to the comitee, then they
will be disqualified and the registration found can not be returned.
8. The participant may only bring the outline on stage (not an actual text )
9. Performing duration is 7 minutes.

10. The ratings are based on

a. Accuracy : 15 points
b. Content : 20 points
c. Fluency : 20 points
d. Intonation : 15 points
e. Confidence : 15 points
f. Performance : 10 points
g. Time : 5 points

11. The Jurys decision is absolute and can not be disturbed

13. Green Flag/Light meaning the participants may start
14. Yellow Flag/ light meaning the time is left by 1 minute
15. Red Flag/ Light meaning the time limit is reached.

The Rules:
1. The Participants has to spell in English
2. The participants should spell in American English pronounciation
3. The Competition Consists of 3 Round : Preliminary Round, Semifinal Round, and Final Round
4. Participants who are not present at the technical meeting and did not confirm to the
comitte in advance , is declared DISQUALIFIED
5. Participants shall take their serial number on the re-registration on the day the
competition will be held
6. Participants must be present 15 minutes before the competition begins
7. To the participants which has done the re-registration and has taken the serial number has
to be ready at a predetermined place. In case of late, the participants must notify the
comitte , at least one hour before the competition will be held
8. Participants whose turn will be called three times
9. If the participants not come after three times called, the the participant will automatically
be stored on the last serial number and be called 3 times
10. If the participants still has not come without clear notification, then participants will be
disqualified and the registration funds can not be refunded
11. Bringing dictionary or any device which help for spelling preparation is forbidden while in
the competition room
12. The words which will be spelled by the participants is in accordance with the order of the
number drawn
13. The participants has the right to ask the meaning , synonym , or antonym and the examples
of the word usage in a sentence to the judges from the first round
14. The participants may start to spell after the pronouncer says the word which has to be
spelled
15. The duration of time spell is 3 minutes for every participants
16. The participants has the chance of 3 strikes (misspell)before being disqualified
17. If the time limit has been reached the participants is considered fail
18. Any participants who uses other language besides English is considered fail spelling words
