Dear Sir/Madam,
Application for Review of Electricity Over-Billing
Reference to the above home address with an assigned PHEDC Account No. 861108284901, we
write to formally complain for the excessive electricity billing for the month of August, 2016.
The above home address is a single building comprises of just 6 rooms, and prior to this time, we
collectively paid between #6,000 –to- #7,000 monthly into the above account of which we have
been complaining how high it was for us owning to the fact that two of the rooms are occupied
by undergraduate students, while the rest of us are just managing our lives in this unfriendly
economic period.
In the month of July 2016, we were billed #6,277 of which we complied. But to our greatest
shocked, in this month of August we received two different set of bills: first on 15th August 2016
we received as usual a collective bill spinning from #6,277 which we paid last month to #12,162;
then a day after, we received another set of bills rated #4,658 for each room across the entire 6
rooms which sum up to #27,950 collectively. This is unimaginable and we strongly believed that
there must be some high degree of error of estimation/computation.
Sir/Madam, please use your good offices to rectify this unimaginable billing and plot of extorting
those that does not even have.
Attached are copies of the collective bills and sets of the unimaginable billing.
Thanks
CC: Manager,
Garden City Central, Port Harcourt.
