I. INTRODUCTION
Why girls love Reading Wattpad Stories? How it can affect
their Studies? This Question helf us to know the Effects of
Reading Wattpad stories in their studies. Wattpad is a new kind
of Application that the girls addicted to use, wherein you can
read your favorite love story book for free. I observe that many
girls student didn’t know the bad effects of reading wattpad in
their study. Maybe it’s the right time for them to realize the
bad effects of too much using the wattpad app, because reading
wattpad can cause lack of sleep which leads them to be unactive
student in their school, and also while reading wattpad you can
read Bad Words and Bad Doings that can influence you to do what
you’re reading about. It can also influence the readers to do
things you shouldn’t do most of the time. One of the bad effects
of reading wattpad is, it can affect your study by always
thinking what will happen next to the next chapter you’re reading
about, you can’t focus on your study so that you will have a low
grades.
You can also have anemia when you read wattpad too much.
Nowadays, girls student can easily read wattpad stories by using
their mobile phone, instead of buying wattpad books with high
price. As a student of MNHS how can you solve that problem? Is it
too hard to minimize reading wattpad? You can find the answer by
yourselves, you’re already a high schooler and we know that you
can think in a better way to atleast minimize reading wattpad.
You should find a better way to manage your time. I think it is
better if you finish all your paper works as a girl student
before you read wattpad and don’t abuse yourself too much, it’s
not healthy for your health. You should be a Good Leader and A
role Model to the other girl student in MNHS who is also reading
wattpad too much. You must be an inspiration to your fellow girl
student so you can them also.

II. RESEARCH STATEMENT
This research aims to determine theeffects of reading wattpad
stories in every girls student of Mayapyap National High School
specifically, this research aimed to answer the Following
questions:
1. What Benefits of the girls they gain in reading wattpad
Stories?
2. How it can affect reading wattpad stories in their studies?

III. DATA GATHERING
In order to find why girls love reading wattpad stories, the
following questions were asked to the selected respondents.
1. Age
2. Grade Level
3. Name
4. Why you are interested to Read Wattpad Stories?
5. What are the bad effects that you gain in reading wattpad
Stories?
6. If you were to choose between reading wattpad and reading
school lessons. What will you choose? Why?

V. SUMMARY OF STATISTICAL TABLE
Based on our Statistical Table, 30 out of 30 students says that

reading wattpad totally affects their study by not sleeping in
early and not doing their assignments, due to excitement on the
next chapter they are reading about.
VI. CONCLUSION
There are many answers in our questions that we found out during
the time we interviewed some of the girls student of Junior High
School. Most of them says that there are many effects of reading
wattpad, the bad effects and good effects. Based on their
answers, some of them do not have time to eat because of their
excitement in what will happen next in the next chapter they are
reading about. They also says that they can’t sleep early because
they want to finish the chapter that gives them joy. Some of them
do not focus in studying lessons in school but they say that they
are still happy because reading wattpad makes them feel Happy by
thinking that they are the character in the story they are
reading about.
