Career Focus
· I am a current student at ODU’s School of Nursing and will be graduating in May of 2019. I hope to begin working at the
Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters after passing boards. I have full intentions to continue my education
through advance practice certifications and eventually going back to school for my masters or doctorate degree.

Education
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA | JUNE 2015 | MAURY HIGH SCHOOL
· I participated in the Medical and Health Sciences program at Maury High School in Norfolk. This entailed taking
medical related courses, anatomy and physiology at EVMS, completing a multitude of volunteer hours, as well as many
other activities. I have watched a live autopsy, seen a knee replacement surgery, and have also shadowed a surgeon’s
assistant and was able to see him perform a cesarean section. Partaking in this program allowed me to expand my
knowledge of medicine and led to my eventual desire to be a nurse.
