10-9) TEST (FORCED OPERATION / FORCED DEFROST)
When pressing R-Room temp regulating KEY and ice selection KEY in PANEL PCB
simultaneously for more than 8 sec, PANEL DISPLAY will go off and it moves onto TEST MODE. At
this point, although F/R-room temp regulating KEY, quick freezing KEY, and ice selection KEY are
pressed, it operates by TEST KEY.
When pressing TEST KEY, Test function shall be changed in the order as Forced Operation →
Forced F Defrost → Cancellation (normal operation) → Forced Operation.
If functions are canceled during the operation of TEST function, it is most desirable to turn off
the power and turn it on again.
Press for 8 sec
1. Forced Operation
1) When pressing TEST KEY once in TEST MODE, Forced Operation will be selected and with BEEP

2) If Forced Operation is selected, COMP. operates instantly without 5 min. delay in any operation MODE. At
this point, if it is in Defrost, Defrost will be stopped instantly.
3) With the selection of Forced Operation, COMP. and F FAN operate for 24 hr. continuously and R-room will
be regulated by the set temp while forced operation continues until the completion of forced operation or
the conversion to other MODE (forced F Defrost) or cancellation.
4) With the selection of forced operation, F-room will be selected at “ MAX -25 ℃”and R-room will be set at
“ MID 2 ℃”automatically. However, although Forced Defrost or Test Cancellation is selected after a
minute while selecting forced operation, the set temp will not change. (Maintaining “ MAX -25℃”and
“ MID 2℃”) If forced defrost or test cancellation are selected in a minute while selecting forced operation,
the set temp will go back to the previous set temp before “ MAX -25℃”and “ MID 2℃”.
5) On the completion of Forced Operation (24 hr.), F Defrost shall be executed regardless of the previous
state.
6) After the above items, it operates under the conditions of normal defrost by judging case by case.
7) If it is cancelled randomly during forced operation, (On changing into Cancellation Mode), the time for
COMP. ON during forced operation shall be calculated in total and reflected in defrost cycle.
8) During forced operation, quick freezing doesn’ t function and with the selection of function, LED indication

10-12) OPTION SETTING
When pressing R-Room temp setting KEY and Vacation KEY simultaneously for 12 sec, DISPLAY will
convert to Option Setting MODE.
1. For example, if you want to set option and SHIFT the standard temp of F-Room to -3℃, follow the irections
below.
This function is to change the standard temp and if the standard temp at present is at F-Room (MID -18 ℃),
it can be lowered by -3℃ via using options and the standard temp will be controlled at -21℃ That is, in the
case of changing temp option, although you set it at -18℃ on the display panel, the fridge will operate at -21
℃ internally. Therefore, when you set the standard temp at -3℃, temp will lowered by -3 ℃ additionally
compared to that set on the display panel while controlling.
1) Press F-Room temp setting key and Quick Freezing KEY simultaneously for more than 12 sec. as shown
in the picture.
- All DISPLAY will be OFF except for F/R-Room temp indicating DISPLAY.
2) After changing into Option Mode, DISPLAY will show "0" for R-Room and "0" for F-Room.
(When shipping of the products, there shall be "0" for R-Room and "0" for F-Room but for the purpose of
quality improvement while producing, the standard setting value can be changed.)
- If "0" for R-Room is indicated, temp option item in F-Room will be set and temp setting value of F-Room
at present will be shown in temp DISPLAY for F-Room.
3) After setting "0" in R-Room and selecting "6" as in the option table of F-Room below, the standard temp
of F-Room will be lowered by 3 degree Celsius. (Refer to the picture of temp change in F-room )
: If you wait for 20 sec. after the completion of adjusting, MICOM will store the set value in EEPROM and
restore to normal DISPLAY while canceling option setting mode.
4) Since option is already set in EEPROM while shipping, do not change it randomly except for the
special occasions and do not turn off power before restoring to normal display because option is
completed as long as it can restore to normal display after 20 sec.
note) Basically, when shipping of the products, data are all cleared in Option.
That is, the Set Values are all 0 .However, for the purpose of quality improvement while
producing, the part of set values is altered and manufactured. Therefore, make sure to check
quality information.
