Introduction to Scratch Coding

GUIDELINES
1. Pre-training tasks:
a. Download Scratch software on your laptop. Make sure it is
working by practicing the flow of your demo.
b. Make sure you have the printed official attendance sheet
available on the above shared folder.
c.
2. Day of Training:
a. Arrive at the training room sufficient time before and ensure you
are properly set up and ready to run for the session
b. Introduce yourself. (Name, from which institution, role today and
why you are here)
c. Inspirational overview of why the attendees are here and Purpose
of Africa Code Week
d. Make sure EVERY ATTENDEE has SIGNED the attendance
sheet.
e. Try to keep check of the time during session and finish on time,
any longer will impact the timeline for other sessions

3. After Training:
a. Make sure again ALL attendees have signed the attendance
sheet,
b. Make sure as a trainer you have completed the Feedback Form
Educators form found on the shared folder mentioned above
c. Please hand in all documents to Prof Yasser Chuttur.
