To Whom It May Concern,

This letter is to recommend Alexcia Lafountain as a successful candidate for a position with your company in
which she is applying. Ms. Lafountain graduated from the Hospitality Management Program with a
specialization in culinary management from Onondaga Community College in the spring of 2017.

For the two years that Alexcia enrolled at OCC I had the pleasure of having her in many of my classes. Lexi, as
she was known to fellow students and professors, stood out from her other classmates with her excellent
written and verbal communication skills. She is extremely organized, can work independently, and is able to
follow through to ensure that the job gets done.

Not only have I spent time in the classroom with Alexcia, but we also had opportunities to work together
outside of OCC. Alexcia competed in the New York Beef Council Veal competition in the fall of 2016 with two
other OCC students, and I as the lead instructor. The team was successful in beating out 6 other schools and
received the winning title as well as a two-thousand-dollar scholarship.

Alexcia has an excellent work ethic, excels in any organizational setting, and is diligent in completing quality
work in a timely manner. She is very personal and has benefited from a variety of life and educational
experiences. As I have witnessed in both academic and professional environments, she is able to work in a
fast-paced setting and has a firm understanding of the tasks put before her. With these attributes that is what
makes her an outstanding representative of the Hospitality industry.

I feel Lexi would add value to any company, and I recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue.
