ATTACHMNET FAMILY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LEVEL OF INTERNET

ADDICTION IN TEENAGERS IN SMA OF DHARMA 2 BANDUNG 2018

Adolescents in the growth and development is a group at risk for many health
problems, one of which is Internet addiction. Lack of family attachment can increase
the use of the internet so that adolescents are very susceptible to Internet addiction.
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of family attachment with
the level of Internet addiction. This research is a quantitative research design using
correlation analysis with cross sectional approach. Subjects in this study were 108
adolescents in Bina Dharma SMA 2 Bandung. The sampling technique in this study
was stratified random sampling. The level of internet addiction in getting the light
category No 22 (20.4%) of respondents, while there were 36 (33.3%) and weighs no
50 (46.3%). Picture attachment in adolescents with low category No 82 (75.9%), the
medium category No 14 (13.0%) and 12 (11.1%). Test conducted with chi square
statistic. Based on the calculations show that P-Value = 0.000 <= 0,05. The results
showed that no significant relationship between family attachment relationship with
the level of Internet addiction in adolescents in Bina Dharma SMA 2 Bandung
