Nurse : Dehydration happens when your body doesn’t have as much water as it needs. Without enough, your body can’t function properly. You can have mild, moderate, or severe dehydration depending on how much fluid is missing from your body. It’s normal to lose water from your body everyday by sweating, breathing, peeing, and pooping, and through tears and saliva. You can lose more water than usual with a fever, diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, and peeing a lot. Signs of dehydration include are thirst, dry or sticky mouth, not peeing very much, dark yellow pee, headache, muscle cramps, rapid heartbeat, rapid breathing, sunken eyes, and fainting. The best care for a mild case, it should be enough just to drink plenty of fluids. Water is your first choice, but there are lots of special drinks on the market that will help you replace your body’s lost water and electrolytes. If you dehydration is serious, you may need to see a doctor to get treated with intravenous (IV) fluids. Severe dehydration may require you to go to the hospital. c. give a chance to the client to ask Nurse :Is there anything that you still don’t understand ?
