Present Simple
permanent adj lasting for a long time or for all time in the future; existing all the time
a permanent job permanent staff
They are now living together on a permanent basis.
Opposite impermanent, temporary
truth [countable] a fact that is believed by most people to be true
universal truths
She was forced to face up to a few unwelcome truths about her family.

Present continuous
moment [countable] a particular occasion; a time for doing something

conference a large official meeting, usually lasting for a few days, at which people
with the same work or interests come together to discuss their views
The hotel is used for exhibitions, conferences and social events.

possess something (formal) to have or own something
He was charged with possessing a shotgun without a licence.

Have got and have
