Preface:
This Start up Guide has designed keeping in view the need of GMI Family especially of
newly joined fellows who have been facing problems at their initial period (introducing
prospects). This is what any person least to know if he/she wants to sustain in Network
Marketing Industry. It particularly focuses on field working areas of a Networker. I believe
this little endeavor would be handy supporting tool for all GMI Family.

Although there is no limit to get more and more knowledge but however here I’ll tell you
what you least know about your business i.e. GMI. At this elementary level you must know

 All Marketing plans (Overview of all plans)
 Policies and Procedures (Cool-Off, Non-active refund policies & Flush out rule)

 How to operate Gold Office of GMI website (Signup Form filling, Funds transferring)
 What is e-commerce and importance of having online business opportunity?

Competitors Knowledge:
Whether it is a Traditional Business or Network Marketing Business, It is worthily important
that you must know the USPs (Unique Selling Points) of your business. Because people
usually compare business and products with other businesses having same approach,
method and characteristics. Actually people want their satisfaction against the amount
they going to spent and ultimately result in comparing of your business and products with
others companies of this industry.

Unique Selling Points (USPs):


Here we generally see that our prospect compares GMI with other companies having
approach of Direct Marketing. So at this level you must know your USP which are as under:

Direct Marketing Approaches:


Usually there are three types of direct marketing approaches which companies deal with.

 Network Marketing
 MLM (Multi Level Marketing)
 Pyramid Schemes

At a glance all of three types LOOK-LIKE the same and that is why peoples often use these
types interchangeably to each other. Firstly we have to consider the ultimate objective of
Direct Marketing which is “To remove all intermediaries (Distributors, Whole Sellers, and
Retailers etc) and maximum possible cut down of marketing expense incurred on the
advertisement and promotion of certain product. In direct marketing actual
consumer/customer of a product have the opportunity to generate residual income simply
by advertising and promoting company product through referring product to others”.

As described above basic principal of all three types remains the same but their working
procedure is different from each other. As far as Network Marketing & MLM are
concerned, both are legal and proven system but Pyramid schemes are totally illegal and

This question will only be answered by enlisting your desires and dreams… precisely said by
setting yours Goals/Targets which you want to achieve from GMI platform. Always
remember, you set your goals in a SMART way which contains these parameters.

(S: Specific, M: Measurable, A: Attainable, R: Relevant, T: Time Bound)

Setting your Goals is the first step to start any activity same like here in GMI Business. If
you are able to set your Goals with afore said parameters, I surely tell you this will work for
you as your performance evaluation scale and you can easily assess your performance with
your specified Goals. These targets will give you the cause to work with GMI and
importantly will also give you the vision to see your prosperous future through the lens of
consistent endeavors.

Precisely set targets will never let you down and de-motivated because with pre-defined
targets you always know where you are going, what is your destination, how much
energy/efforts you need to achieve it and when the target supposed to be completed.

This is the first time target not assigned to you in fact you have assigned target to yourself
and I hope you will be enjoyed to report to yourself. You will be your own boss and you will

Upon completion of Goal Setting phase, now you need to select your business team…… A
real potential team through which could you could achieve your targets. Firstly select
people from your circle of influence then apply these selection criteria

How to invite
At the initial period of network marketing career your role is to invite your prospects to
visit GMI Central Office. Your invitation is cent percent successful if your prospect reaches
there. I advise you to keep your invitation as short as possible but make sure your
invitation should be enriched with excitement and suspense.

Tip: Now a day cell phone becomes a very handy tool for invitation because it refrain your
prospects to argue and asking more questions about your proposal.

Words not to be used in your invitation: Do not use such words (Gold Business, $70
Payment, Network Marketing, GMI etc) in your invitation which gives any clue about your
business as it would make you difficult to invite your prospect.

Show the Opportunity:


It would be better if your guest reaches GMI Office at least 15 mins prior to the
presentation. After receiving your guest, take a little visit of office and show them peaceful
and friendly GMI Office environment. After announcement go to presentation hall and
attend presentation along with your guest.

Note: if you do not have any Support Centre in your area or due to any other reason you could not
be able to visit GMI Office then you may present the business plan by yourself/seniors or you can
also used presentation DVD.

Meeting with Seniors:


It very important phase of your working, usually we does not take it seriously and even
sometime directly get back to homes after presentation session. For desired results you
should introduce your prospects with your seniors so that they can answer their questions
and clear their vision about GMI.

Always remember not to interrupt when your senior conversing with your prospect. After
meeting give them a little demo of Gold Office. While seeing-off your guest fix a meeting
for next day as it would be convenient to you for follow-up and also highlight the
disadvantages of having opinions from people who do not any thing about network 7
marketing.

Tips for Seniors: This is the time to make impression of GMI. First warmly hand shakes with
your team member’s guest and give them a friendly environment so that they can clear
their doubts/ questions about GMI. Start your discussion with the overview of presentation
because it is commonly observed that even after attending the presentation majority of
prospects still asking the such silly questions…….What is work ?......What is suppose to do ?
and blah blah... but you should welcome their all questions with smile and properly answer
them. Some other factors which also keep in mind while conversation are:

 You must be able to assess their education level, living standard and answer them
accordingly.
 Do not exaggeratedly present the importance of having online business, internet
and ecommerce. Because sometime it works adversely.
 Present a little comparison with traditional part time business and part time job.
 Focus on the point that GMI is the best platform especially for those dynamic,
talented and hard working people who want to some thing for their families but do
not have enough resources to make their dreams come true.

Follow up
Next day when you meet to your prospect you probably be facing a discouraging response
and would be surprised what’s happened to him as yesterday he was quite willing to join
your team. Firstly make up your mind such responses and prepare yourself how to deal
with. If you want to make your “Closing” strong and result oriented then you must train
yourself and keep getting knowledge of Network Marketing & GMI. Best source of
knowledge are your sponsors and seniors. They always ready to guide you to the right path
just develop the learning thirst in yourself. Few suggestions to make your follow up
effective are as under:

 Choose a pleasant and noisy-free environment for your meeting. It would be a


drawing room, any restaurant or any park etc.
 Best follow up results will always come from one to one meeting so do not discuss
it in front of others especially those who do not have any knowledge of GMI or have
negative approach.
 Ask if he/she have any question/confusion in his mind.


Be confident and polite.
Show your excitement, enthusiasm about GMI and tell them how you have planned

to achieve your targets. Tell them your future plans and dream list briefly.

 At this stage you may also ask them about their dreams and how they planned to
achieve them.
 Do not under estimate your self and your work. You are the one who gives the
opportunity. So act like a person who helps others.

Train your Team (Duplication)


If you want a durable and long lasting success in Networking Marketing field then always
always focus on training of your team because Duplication is the key of success in Network
Marketing and in GMI as well. It is business of knowledge sharing so keep sharing it with
your down lines and keeps getting it with your up lines.
