SJS HR Policies for employees working in Stylo

Purpose:
Purpose of these policies is to define Human Resource practices in SJS International.

Scope:
This Policy Covers following Aspects:
1. Recruitment.
2. Orientation.
3. Inventory shortage / Surplus.
4. Attendance.
5. Discrimination.
6. Dress Code.
7. Grievance Handling.
8. Mobile Phones.
9. Cleaner Environment.

Recruitment
1. Team of SJS international including HOD’s of relevant departments will hire teams for
stylo shops.
2. These teams are then shortlisted by HR department and necessary data will be sent to
Stylo HR for their Enrollment on shops.
3. It is compulsory that Stylo will add SJS team in Biometric so SJS HR will have complete
information of attendance about the employees.
4. IF any employee is terminated due to conflict between SJS shop staff & Stylo shop staff
then he or she will not be hired again unless or until proper NOC will be given from both
sides.

Orientation
1. Stylo Outlet Manager will organize general induction orientation for each SJS staff. He
will complete an induction plan for each new joiner covering the below mentioned
aspects.
 introductions
 outlet tour
 emergency procedure
 business overview
 who’s who
 nominated buddy
 working safely plan
 on-job training plan
 attendance system orientation
 shop operations

Inventory Shortage & surplus


1. SJS employees are solely responsible for SJS Inventory placed in shop.
2. If any shortage will be found during audit respective employee will be fined accordingly
or deal as per company policy.
3. Any employee involved in theft or shoplifting will be dealt strictly and may be his or her
may be terminated.

Attendance
1. Stylo shop manager will be responsible for making rosters and record attendance of each
SJS employee and forwarded to stylo HR for onward submission to SJS HR.
2. SJS section incharge will manage leaves of staff and these leave record will be share with
SJS HR.
3. Any unnecessary / uninformed leaves of 3 days will result in termination of employment
from the company.

4. Sick leaves above 3 days will approve on provision of Medical certificate.


5. SJS HR will Manage all employee Leaves As per their company policy.
6. Stylo HR will record attendance of SJS employee in their biometric system as well for
record and will give access to SJS HR for their respective employee to cross check the
attendance of employees
7. It is also necessary that Stylo Hr will prepare employee cards for SJS employees to avoid
any unnecessary or forced entry in shop.

Discrimination
1. SJS international is an equal opportunity employer and encourage employees form all
part of the country and from any religion.
2. Any Act of discrimination, diversity or Harassment will be dealt strictly and if employee
found guilty he or she will be terminated from the company.

Dress Code
1. Dress codes are created out of social perceptions and norms and vary based upon
circumstances and occasions.
2. Dress codes are symbolic indication of social ideas, attitude towards comfort and
tradition.
3. SJS employees will wear Stylo provided uniform to create uniformity.
4. Any employee found not wearing proper uniform he or she will be fined as per policy.

Grievance Handling
1. SJS International is equal opportunity employer if any employee feels that his manager,
colleague or subordinate is not treating him or her properly then he or she will launch
complain against his or her to his section incharge, departmental head or SJS HR.
2. All complains will be dealt and investigate on adhoc basis.
3. Employee will also launch the complain if he or she something which is not according to
company policy.

4. Employee will also blow whistle anonymously to hide their identity. SJS will investigate
all such matters.

Mobile Phones
1. Mobile phones are not allowed during working hours.
2. Mobile phones will be off / silent during working hours.
3. SJS section incharge have authority to take employee mobile phone in his or her custody
and will return when duty hours finished.

Working Environment
1. Stylo will provide good working environment to SJS employees.
2. They will provide proper Female / Male Washrooms
3. It is also duty of SJS employees to keep their working area neat and clean all the time.
4. Undergarments section (UG) is for females only No male employee of SJS or Stylo will
be allowed to enter in UG section. In case of some emergency / operational work SJS
section incharge will take stylo manager in confidence and then they will proceed further.
5. They will make sure that no Female customer is present in UG section at that time.
Authorization
1. Stylo shop manager will be responsible to implement all the above mentioned policies
with coordination of SJS section incharge
2. Furthermore if stylo manager wants to share some information or some policy with SJS
employees he or she will first take SJS section manager in loop then address other
employees of SJS.
POC
1. Mr. Awais Khawar is POC of SJS international.
2. All Stylo shop Manager will be in coordination with Mr. Awais in any issue related to
SJS international.
