Dear Ms. Reader,

As a music enthusiast, I take music very seriously. But as a teacher, I would take the welfare and
education of my students much higher than my love of music. My main goal in working for your
district as a Band Director is to spread the joy that comes with accomplishment and learning
something new. I have about five years of experience with trombone, which includes two years of
freelance work and six months of tutoring. Being part of two marching bands in my high school
leaves me with the correct tools to educate, inform, and bond with others in a way that makes
learning easy. To be a part of the Chico District music program would be an immense honor that
I would not struggle to uphold.
