b. This is all going to be important to know as a teacher, because it is important to know
what background your students are coming from. Backgrounds can completely change
the way that you want to approach that child. I think one that is really important to look
at the divorce rate as well, and know what students come from that background,
because it can be very hard for those students.

e. It is important to know all of these things, especially federal programs. It is important to
know who your ELL students are and how you are going to approach having those
children in your classroom. It is also very important to know how many students you are
going to have with special needs. It is going to be important to know if those students
are going to be in your class and the interventions that you are going to need to do with
those students.

the school. All of these doors will be used in case of a fire drill or other

v. School rules-Taylor's Crossing is a Harbor school that accepts students from
Kindergarten​​ through ​12th grade. Kindness and common courtesy are taught
and expected from everyone involved in the educational process, from the
administrator to the newest kindergarten student. Students are expected to
include others, use please and thank you, and clean up after themselves.

k. Rules and management policies-Rules include raising our hands, listening when others talk,
treating each other nicely, and we do our best. Children have free time if they get all of their
work done from their centers. In their free time, between centers, children are expected to
get a book and read to themselves quietly. Children who are caught doing a good deed have
the opportunity to be given a “Soaring Eagle.” Those who receive soaring eagles receive a
treat.
