A fact is a statement

experience or observation.

opinion, “to believe”—is a
judgement or belief not
founded on a certainty or
proof. It may be prevailing or
popular feeling or a public
opinion. It is always believed
that opinions differ from
person to person.
 To form an intelligent
judgement, a reader must
know the difference
between then fact and
opinion; must understand
that intelligent decisions
are based on facts and not
opinions.
