1. This Office announces the conduct of Quarterly Capacity Building of Elementary and Secondary
School Heads on School-Based Management for School Year 2018-2019 on dates listed hereunder:

2. The objectives of the training are:

a. to provide the participants with latest updates on DepEd issuances, issues and concerns on the
management of schools;
b. to equip them with appropriate skills necessary in the enhancement of performance of their
duties and functions as manager of their schools;
c. to establish stronger rapport between and among SDO personnel and field officials on matters
of school management; and
d. to achieve clear sense of direction for all schools in the attainment of objectives for the school
year.

3. Participants include the following: school division superintendent, assistant schools division
superintendents, division chiefs, education program supervisors, district supervisors, unit heads in
the SDO, elementary, and secondary heads and all others concerned.

4. A registration fee of eight hundred pesos (Php 800.00) for every quarterly conduct of the training
shall be collected from each participant to cover expenses for meals, snacks, handouts and other
expenses chargeable to school MOOE or other local funds subject to the usual accounting and
auditing rules and regulations.

5. This Memorandum also serves as travel authority of participants.

6. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
