SUMMER IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS FOR SY 2022-2023

1. This is to inform the field that the SUMMER IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR
TEACHERS FOR SY 2022-2023 will be on August 8-12, 2022.

2. The Division-Based Trainings will be conducted on August 8-10, 2022 with


selected teacher-participants while School-Based Trainings will be on August 11-12,
2022 for all School-Based Personnel.

3. The topics of the 1st day of the School-Based training will be about the immediate
school concerns and school target planning at accessible venues while the 2nd day will be
about Administrative Concerns c/o Division Administrative Officer V (Admin) &
Administrative Officer IV (HRMO) at Bais City Evacuation & Multipurpose Center.

4. School L&D Coordinator and School Head are responsible to prepare the activity
design for the 2-day In-Service Training for SY 2022-2023 and comply with the
procurement process as well as to coordinate with the assigned DFTAT.

5. An internal Monitoring and Evaluation officer shall also be established in the


conduct of the school activity and shall coordinate directly to Division M&E Section.

6. All school heads, teachers and other personnel involved are expected to observe
and adhere to the IATF-EID – Level 3 safety health protocols. Attached is the
Guidelines on the Nationwide Implementation of Alert Level System for Covid-19 Response
as of November 18, 2021.

7. Teacher-participants are entitled to Service Credit subject to compliance with the


requirements provided for under DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003 for the services rendered.

8. All school heads and School L & D coordinators shall prepare and submit the
Activity Completion Report, activity outputs and other supporting documents with the
Summary of Participation.

9. All those who will claim for Service Credit shall comply with item No. 7 with the
original signed attendance sheets and signed DTRs to the HRDS (Attn: Maria Vanessa A.
Teves) not later than August 19, 2022.

10. All identified participants who have cough, cold, sore throat, shortness of breath
and fever are not allowed to attend the face-to-face sessions. The participant shall submit
a written explanation with medical certificate.

11. All participants should be fully vaccinated. Otherwise, they shall present a
negative RT-PCR/Antigen result.

12. The Division Field Technical Assistance Team will be deployed during the conduct
of this training. More details will be in a separate memorandum (Attn: Mr. Gilbert O.
Laxina Jr.).

13. The Certificate of Participation will be issued by the Division Office once all
necessary reports have been submitted.

14. Food and other relevant expenses are charged against HRD Fund / School MOOE
/ Other Local Funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
