I. RATIONALE:
The Brigada Eskwela is a national maintenance week with the goal of uniting all stakeholders in
education to participate and provide their time, energy, and resources to beautify public school facilities
at the start of the school year. In light, DepEd Memorandum No. 216, s 2022 issued guidelines entitled
“2022 Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines. ”The BE program will be implemented from August 1
to August 15, 2022, with Bringing your attention to collaborating and developing partnerships that
support DepEd's efforts to implement the basic education learning continuity plan (BE-LCP) and to
ensure the provision of high-quality basic education notwithstanding the COVID-19 epidemic. For this
year Brigada Eskwela theme is, BRIGADA ESKWELA: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral which
is taken from the Brigada Eskwela Slogan to highlight the nation's coordinated efforts to encourage
cooperation for safe living and manage social issues and concerns in classrooms, households, and the
community.

A.6. A.5. Activity Rationale:

Pursuant to Deped Order #24 s. 2008 known as National Schools Maintenance Week or the
Institutionalizing of Brigada Eskwela Program, all schools have to prepare for the opening of
the classes. The Brigada Eskwela Program is one of the most significant programs of the
Department of Education, Which there is presence of bayanihan spirit. The private
institutions/individuals, government agencies, local government units, and other
organizations are enjoined to contribute and to participate in the DepEd’s campaign to
ensure accessible and quality basic education. Despite the obstacles brought by COVID-
19 pandemic, Brigada Eskwela program highlights collaboration strategies that
complement the Department of Education's efforts to guarantee that quality basic education
continues. Brigada Eskwela 2021 Program, which involves the community and local
stakeholders, is implemented effectively following the IATF health protocols and
standards. These includes virtual programs, online campaigns, and limited face-to-face
activities (subject to the approval of the SDOs and LGUs) At the end of this activity, the

school is now prepared for the opening of the classes for SY 2021- 2022.

A.6. Objectives:
Terminal Objective:
1. To strengthen or improve the participation of parent during Brigada Eskwela
Enabling Objective:
1. Bring together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute
their time, effort, and resources
2. To prepare public school facilities for the opening of the school year in
September
3. To generate resources through donations and volunteer services

A.7. Expected Output:

a. 80% school improvement of school beautification

A.8. Methodology:
Meeting and reporting of each committee will beconducted virtually if face to
face will not be permitted.Acceptance of volunteer parents and other stakeholder
will be done on schedule basis with 10-15 persons in the morning and another set
in theafternoon.There will be letters send to different stakeholders tosource out funds and
materials needed for the repair and repainting and other needs.Advertisement of the
activity will be done through tarpaulin, announcement on social media andthrough
announcement in different radio stations inthe municipality.

- Workforces needed are the School Head and Teaching Personnel who will serve as
TWG and speakers.
