productivity (Range selling and average bill value) for ITC snacks Bingo and Yippee Noodles for
Jammu City and Rurban Markets.

Status report (3rd june-15th June)

In the last two weeks, following sequence of events took place. At first I was briefed about the
project and about the WD points that I have to manage in this whole internship process. Along
with that the project specific tasks were given, which were to enhance the WD’s sales and to
work on those DS whose sales were declining from last few weeks or months.

From first day I started my work by taking a Gate meeting of DS at WD point Kanishka
enterprise under the guidance of Mr. Rakib Zahoor and Mr. Divanshu. I interacted with the DS
so that I could know their weakness due to which they were not performing good and the sales
were not meeting the given target.

I went along with the DS whose sales declined to 3000-4000 per day. First I observed where
he was lacking and tried to understand the reason behind his bad performance. I went with the
same DS for first three days in different market. I worked on him by using all my potential. And
every day I motivated and guided him so that he can perform well. I explained him how he must
treat the retailer and taught him that in this job everything depends on a healthy relationship
and good communication with retailer. Now, he is performing very well and his average sale is
now above 10000 per day.

Along with handling this one particular DS on personnel level, I managed and guided other DS
too and tried my best to increase their performance. I went along with them too and side by
side I also managed the other DS point i.e. Saksham Telecell. I managed a team of 5 DS of Food
in WD Kanishka enterprise and 4 DS in WD point Saksham Telecell.

I took Gate meeting at both WD points, in which I motivated the salesman and gave them sales
task i.e. they have to do more sales then their average sales. I pushed them as much as I can so
that they can perform better in market.

Along with managing the DS and enhancing sales, I studied the market competition among
our products Bingo and Yippee. I collected bills of products like lays, kurkure, haldiram chips
etc. from different outlets to understand the competition and promotional activities that are
offered by our competitors.

Also I registered 6 new outlets under the WD point Saksham Telecell. I went along with the
low performing DS of WD point Saksham Telecell and worked on him. Also with that I tried to
increase sales by selling our products to those retailers who are having our Bingo racks in
their outlets. I also gave a list of 8 outlets that can be registered in First Club. Each day I
visited different market to check the availability of our products in market.

From this week along with managing DS and enhancing sales, I am monitoring the enrollment
process for retailers under Aashirvaad Utsav program. And i am keeping record of three WD
points (Kanishka enterprises, Saksham Telecell, Sidhivinayak traders) regarding enrolment
process.
