1. Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to provide a systematic approach for identifying federal, state, and local
HSE legal and regulatory requirements, and other requirements to which Al-Jaber subscribes and to
assign responsibilities, and to monitor and evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
This procedure is applicable to all the activities, services and operations carried out at various
levels at Al-Jaber.
3. Responsibilities
d) HSE Incharge is responsible for preparing, monitoring and reviewing list of applicable legal
and other requirements.
e) HSE Incharge and is responsible for collecting, extracting and updating the legal and other
requirements.
f) Management Representative is responsible for communicating the identified Environmental legal and
other requirements to the employees and interested parties.

4. Procedure
4.1 General
Al-Jaber has established QHSE policies which includes its commitment to compliance
with applicable HSE legal and other requirements that relates to its environmental
aspects. These legal requirements can be in any form, such as legislation, including
statutes, regulations and codes of practice, etc. Depending on its circumstances and
needs, Al-Jaber may also subscribe voluntarily requirements, other than legal
requirements, that relate to its environmental aspects. Such other HSE requirements,
can include contractual conditions, agreements with interested parties, voluntary
principles, best practices or codes of practice, public commitments of the organization
or its parent organization, and corporate/company requirements.
The QHSE team organize the initial study to determine the applicable HSE Legal and other
requirements to which Al-Jaber subscribes.
When undertaking the exercise of identifying HSE legal and other requirement, it shall be
ensure that;
a) All legislation, regulatory orders and other agreements which are of a legal or
binding nature are examined.
b) The applicable clauses in each legal and other document which require specific
action by Al-Jaber.
c) The requirement / action against each clause are identified and made in a form which
can be easily understood by the person responsible for implementation.
All the identified HSE legal, regulatory and other requirements are maintained by Admin / HR
Department in the actual released form and are made available to concern on requirement.

4.3 Changes that may affect legal and other requirements
Changes to, and development of new activities, processes and services may change the Al-
Jaber legal and other obligations. Such changes include:
HSE Incharge is responsible for identifying changes in activities, processes and services that
may change the facility's legal and other Requirement and to communicate the changes to
the Management Representative. Relevant changes may also be identified by the
Management Representative in reviews or by internal or external audits of the QHSE.
Management Representative reviews the reported changes and determines their legal and
regulatory impact and risk. When the change triggers new regulatory requirements,
subsequent changes shall be made in the relevant legal framework accordingly.
