Title Uncle Turtle
Purpose By the end of the lesson ,the pupils should be able to:
1. Retell the story using the animal puppets and have
fun.
Materials required Animals pictures,sticks,glue,scissors, coloured pencils,
scripts, worksheets, MBMMBI CD.
Suggested Instructional 1. Teacher shows the video to the pupils and guides
sequence
them to read the story.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to fill in the i-think (circle
map) while/after watching, with all the characters in the
story.
3. Teacher asks the pupils to work in a group of seven.
(Narrator, 2 fish, 1 squid, Harry the fish, Uncle
Turtle and his son)
4. Each group is given materials to create the animal
puppets which represent the characters in the story.
5. Then, they have to practise how to retell the story
using the puppets. The students will refer to the scripts.
6. Each group takes turn to present their story.
