NOTE FOR DIVERSION OF 0.70ha OF FOREST LAND IN HALKI VILLAGE OF

SAVADATTI TALUKA, BELAGAVI DISTRICT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO ROAD FROM
HULLERI TANDA TO HALKI UNDER GANDHI PATHA GRAMA PATHA (N.G.N.R.Y-4).

There is no connectivity to Hullikeri Tanda except this forest stretch. This is the only
demarcated road in the Revenue Survey Map of Halki village passing through the forest stretch
in Revenue Survey No 225.

The Proposed road of “Hullikeri Tanda to Halki” forms the only connectivity link to the
residents of Hullikeri Tanda, having a population of 798 (S.C: 798) and Halki: 1282 (S.C: 148, S.T:
497, General: 637). There is no any other alternative to this habitation. Therefore this route is
inevitable and hence this road stretch may be approved at the earnest.
