Mrs. BAIA, age 60, underwent a CT scan of her head which was requested by Dr. M.S. Chouhan. The scan found mild diffuse cerebral atrophy consistent with her age but no other abnormalities. Her cerebellum, brainstem, ventricles and cisterns all appeared normal. The radiologist noted that acute infarcts may not appear on CT for 48-72 hours and recommended clinical correlation.
