Brief Profile of Instrumentation Limited

Instrumentation Limited (IL), a Government of India Enterprise, was set up in 1964 to cater
to turnkey Control and Instrumentation requirements of process and thermal power
industry. The company’s has rendered state of the art systems for power plants, refineries,
cement plants, steel, chemical industry etc and thus has played an important role in
creating core infrastructure in the country.

Having more than fulfilled its basic objective of catering to the requirement of Energy,
Steel, and Process industries, and with a view to broad base its operations the company
successfully diversified into other high technology areas like IT Solutions, ERP,
Customized software solutions, Telecommunications, Mobile Radio Trunking Networks,
Railway Signaling and Renovation/Construction of Electrical Substations, e_Governance
projects...Apart form Kota the company has a full fledged unit in Palakkad (Kerala), branch
and regional offices in major cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chennai,
Vadodara and site offices at Bhilai, Rourkela, Vizag and several other locations.

1. E-Tendering/ Web Portal Services :

Instrumentation Limited offering a web portal based electronic tendering solution
which specifically addresses the intricacies involved in tendering by Government
controlled companies / departments. The product is a fully tested product and
economical vis a vis other customized solutions which may be developed for this
purpose. E-Tendering will soon become mandatory as per various guidelines issued
by CV amd Ministry of Finance. The web based services are being offered to
reputed PSU like Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Airport Authority of India(AAI),
POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited, Engineers India Limited (EIL). We have
also bid for several state government project involving web enabled IT managed
services on Turnkey basis.
