Dear Sir/Madam,

With this letter I wish hereby wish to apply and state my motivation for entrance to the Master program
in TUBITAK

All my life, I have wished to do something out of the ordinary and yearn to achieve great heights in
future. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been enthralled by technological advancements, who
invented them and how. Science and technology has inspired me to become a pharmacist. After getting
practical experience, I want to boost my expertise by pursuing higher studies as a means of continuing
professional development. I aspire to undertake MS in Pharmaceutical Technology because I did my
bachelors in Pharmacy as well as I am keen on doing research and I always had an active interest in new
developments in science and technology therefore it totally relates to achieve a career in Pharmacy.

I have demonstrated a marked sense of independence in terms of taking initiative regarding my

academics, being determined to meet and exceed the set expectations. After having worked on various
levels I now want to attain an academic qualification that enhances my interpersonal as well as
professional skills to take on a leadership role. I believe that I possess good leadership as well as problem
solving skills and have an analytical approach as I have been working as a production pharmacist in
Medipak, Lahore, Pakistan. Thus enhanced knowledge that I gain through this degree coupled with my
interpersonal abilities will provide me a chance to grow professionally and to secure a good job in a
managerial role. It will open doors to multiple times of jobs which will give me training on new
technology that has been my passion since I was in school.

I have chosen Turkey for doing my masters because I am enthralled by progress made by Turkey in the
field of technology, high education standard, high world ranking, world class faculty, good infrastructure,
proper laboratories and equipment. Turkey is the most suitably placed country for pursuing higher
education because of its location where as it is Europe and it is likely to be granted membership of
European council.

This placement provides its students to have better access to various fields of education which are not
necessarily available to the third world countries. Exceptional and ambitious students therefore are often
at a disadvantage for not having their field of interest and specialization available in their own countries.
Turkish universities due to the proximity of advanced industrial country like France, Germany, etc. would
be better in providing extensive range of disciplines besides being in touch with latest advancements in
science & technology. In Pakistan, one university is offering this program but the university has no
international recognition at international level whereas Hacettepe University, Marmara University and
others are among the top ranked universities in the world. It has come to my knowledge that science &
technology in Turkey in centrally planned by TUBITAK and the scholarship will provide me the
opportunity to study at prestigious institutions of the country. In my opinion, I would not get a better
chance to fulfill my dreams other than this scholarship. It’s worth mentioning here that I find the culture
and hospitality of the people of turkey pretty impressive.

I deserve this scholarship because as a citizen of the third world country I neither have access to world
class education nor the resources to gain it on my own. I am highly motivated and hardworking individual
and I am bound to change the current situation of my country as we are facing economic crisis and thus
need to develop our skills and knowledge to be able to combat the situation in order to prosper. Through
this scholarship you will be providing a mean of strengthening friendship and a Muslim brotherhood
between our countries. If I am given a chance, I will put in all the efforts to promote the positive image
of Pakistan and acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills that will enable to step into the real world
and be geared up for the practical challenges to become a useful citizen.
