Solutions for the 5 Important Problems from the list :

1.YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT

Solutions to the unemployment in India

The very first solution for the unemployment is to control the rising population of our country.
Government should motivate people to have small families. The quality of Indian education
should be improved. The current education system is not upto the level.
Government should keep a strict watch on the education system and try to implement new ways
to generate skilled labour force. Government should select a committee to look after the schools
and universities. The syllabus taught is of no use to the industries so the education should be as
per the current requirements of the industries.
Before completing the education a practical knowledge should be given. Also today’s youth
should join the institute or select the course where proper training is given and the course is as
per the current industries requirements.
Take the course as per your interest and which will bright your future.Government should allow
more foreign companies to open their unit in India, so that more employment opportunities will
be available.

2.POVERTY

Solutions to the Poverty in India

Growth of population at the current rate should be checked by implementation of policies and
awareness promoting birth control. All efforts should be made to increase the employment
opportunities in the country, either by inviting more foreign investments or by encouraging self-
employment schemes.
Measures should be taken to bridge the immense gap that remains in distribution in wealth
among different levels of the society. Certain Indian states are more poverty stricken than others
like Bihar and the North East states. Government should seek to encourage investment in these
states by offering special concessions on taxes.
Primary needs of people for attaining a satisfactory quality of life like food items, clean drinking
water should be available more readily. Improvement of the Subsidy rates on commodities and
Public Distribution system should be made. Free high school education and an increased number
of functioning health centers should be provided by the government.

3.ILLITERACY

Solutions to the ILLITERACY in India

To eradicate this problem and to bring about her social, economical and political improvements
all educated persons and students should join hands together in all possible ways.
Postal stamps and calendars have been released for this purpose by the central government but
these are not sufficient steps for promotion of literacy in a large country like India.
More schools can be set up all over the country. There should be ample provisions in the Central
and State budgets to fight illiteracy.
Government should try to bring every child to school. Effective measures should be taken to stop
child labor.
It is this illiteracy that seizes this land of our like an Octopus and throttles her to death.
Philanthropic organizations and both formal and non-formal educational institutions should help
these poor people to read and write. They can play a vital role to make the illiterate literate.

4. WATER SCARCITY

Solutions to the Water Scarcity in India

Education: There are plenty of opportunities out there that people can use in order to learn more
about the world around them. By educating those who are not dealing with water scarcity, they
can be in a position to help. Those who are dealing with it can get educated on how they can
prevent the problem from becoming even worse in the future.
Recycle Water: There are plenty of technologies out there that allow you to recycle rainwater
and other water that you may be using in your home. Consider learning about how you can
recycle water. Not only does it help to prevent scarcity, but it can save you some money as well.
Advance Technology Related to Water Conservation: There has been a lot of work in the
world of water conservation, but there is also a lot that needs to be done in order to ensure that
the rest of the world is able to conserve water. Putting money and effort into conservation could
be life saving.

Improve Practices Related to Farming: Farming and irrigation are often a huge culprit when it
comes to water scarcity. Because of that, we need to improve practices so that we don’t use as
much water and those who are using water are using it to its fullest potential. Technology also
needs to advance in this manner.

5. OVER-POPULATION

Solutions to the Over – Population in India

Better Education: One of the first measures is to implement policies reflecting social change.
Educating the masses helps them understand the need to have one or two children at the most.
Making People Aware of Family Planning: As population of this world is growing at a rapid
pace, raising awareness among people regarding family planning and letting them know about
serious after effects of overpopulation can help curb population growth. One of the best way is to
let them know about various safe sex techniques and contraceptives methods available to avoid
any unwanted pregnancy.
Tax Benefits or Concessions: Government of various countries might have to come with
various policies related to tax exemptions to curb overpopulation. One of them might be to waive
of certain part of income tax or lowering rates of income tax for those married couples who have
single or two children.
