LESSON: Greek Mythology- THE TROJAN WAR

Day 2- JULY 10 (THURSDAY)

I. Objectives:
K – To watch the Hollywood film "TROY" depicting the events of the Trojan War
P – To form a judgment on the question of "Fantasy or History" in relation to the Trojan War through
pointing out the different facts and beliefs of the story.

III. Values Integration: Realize the importance of literature in our lives; Show appreciation for literature by
reading literary pieces; Improve both vertical and horizontal dimensions of your lives by
deepening your knowledge of yourselves as well as other people and appreciate the literary
pieces of Greece through learning Greek Mythology; Internalize the values learned from the
epic and appreciate the beauty of epic.

V. Teaching – Learning Process

a. Motivation/ Review
 The teacher will review the students about the different gods and goddesses.
 The teacher will ask the students about some important events during the Trojan War that
were discussed during the reporting.

b. Activities:Differentiated Instruction

1. The students will watch the film "TROY" that depicts the events of the Trojan War.
2. The students will have a discussion or judgment on the question of "Fantasy or History" in
relation to the Trojan War.

c. Assessment
 Oral Recitation of the questions from the movie.

d. Assignment
e. Closure
 Recap the objectives
