3 to enhance learning
Crandall ISD Lead4ward
Implementation at
W.A. Martin Elementary
Here is our process and how
we gained buy-in with our
staff at our campus with
4
Lead4Ward!
Year 1
Step 1
⊷ Began focus with Lead4Ward
using Strategies Playlist
solely
⊷ Selected 5-6 teacher leaders
to learn and be trained on the
Strategies Playlist
⊷ Lead4Ward Teacher Leaders
then trained staff on the
Strategies Playlist
5
Year 1
Step 2
⊷ Created a bingo board with
strategies from the Playlist
⊷ Teachers worked at own
pace
⊷ Bingo board was flexible,
could switch strategies if not
on game board

6
Year 1
Step 3
⊷ Teachers had three opportunities to
bingo on their game board
⊷ Prizes were given for each bingo
⊷ The last time to bingo was a
blackout on their gameboard
⊷ Teachers collaborated in PLCs
⊷ Teachers tweeted on Twitter to
share Playlist Strategies
⊷ I would stamp bingo board and give
prizes on Fridays
7
Year 2
Step 1
⊷ District implemented a Lead4Ward
team of teachers per campus
⊷ Lead4Ward teams from each
campus watch webinars and attend
Lead4ward trainings once a 6
weeks
⊷ Campus staff is trained from
Lead4Ward team during weekly
grade level meetings, PLCs, and
staff development days
8
Year 2
Step 2
⊷ Any new staff to the campus this
year received training from a
member of our campus Lead4Ward
team on the Strategies Playlist
⊷ Our campus is beginning a new
gamified approach to continue the
Lead4Ward Strategies Playlist
⊷ Teachers tweet on Twitter and
share during PLCs

9
Our Lead4Ward “Kick Off” for
staff with our Lead4Ward Team
Year 2
Step 3
⊷ As a campus and district we are
now growing and adapting to other
Lead4Ward tools such as the
Planning Guides, Learning Reports,
and the Field Guides
⊷ The best part of gamifying the
learning is it encourages teachers
to have fun in their learning and
once one game ends, another one
can begin!
