Safety Procedures in High Risk Activities

 Ha%ard Identification & 'he first step in Safety Risk anagement is to identify
ha%ards that the organi%ation faces in its operational environment(

 Risk Assessment ) "ach identified ha%ard undergoes a risk assessment to

determine its potential conse*uences(

 Risk +ontrol ) Risk control is a techni*ue that utili%es findings from risk
assessments and implementing changes to reduce risk in these areas(

ha%ardous

 If the value of the ha%ardous energy

falls in the 8"valuate Ha%ard and

should be used if the authori%ed
-orker determines that lockout is
-arranted based on an evaluation of
all ha%ards, including secondary
ha%ards and combined ha%ards,
associated -ith the -ork scope and
e*uipment or system conditions;
other-ise lockout is not re*uired(
