Program Description
This is a district level activity involving 13
elementary schools that aims to provide participants
with concrete understanding of critical content in Grade
4 Mathematics. It is also expected that demonstration
teaching will be conducted at the end of each topic.
Mode of Delivery/Duration/Level of The District Learning Action Cell (DisLAC) for Grade 4
Management in the K-12 Basic Education Program will be conducted
on the following schedule and venue:

It will be participated by all Grade 4 teachers handling
Mathematics. Formal face to face encounter will be
done. The speakers/facilitators, training managers and
the different working committees will collaborate to
make the activity a success.

Competencies 1. Improve teachers’ competence in line with
content knowledge in mathematics.
2. Enhance teachers’ confidence in handling
Mathematics 4 in the K-12 Curriculum; and
3. Preparation of appropriate instructional
activities, materials and assessment tools.

Budgetary Requirement/Service Each school is encouraged to bring cartolina, manila
paper, marking pen and other materials that will be
used during the sessions.

1. Brainstorming is conducted to plan out topics for
the DisLAC
2. Orient teachers on the conduct of the DisLAC.
3. Assign different working committees and
facilitators.
4. Prepare the proposal and necessary materials
needed.
