ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
(S.Y. 2018 – 2019)

I. INTRODUCTION

Information Technology (IT) is concerned with the development, management and


use of computer-based information systems. Our top priority and most important
accomplishment is the continued success in providing high quality, reliable service and
support to our students. I.T now a days is very important not only to pupils but to
teachers also.

ICT is also one of the components of EDUKASYONG PANTAHANAN AT


PANGKABUHAYAN (EPP) under the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum from grade four to
grade six. The said component was designed towards the development of the students
in terms of knowledge and information, creativity, process and delivery and skills. The
ICT Policy in School Education aims at preparing youth to participate creatively in the
establishment, sustenance and growth of a knowledge society leading to all round socio-
economic development of the nation and global competitiveness.

II. GOALS

A. LEARNERS

Give every student an opportunity to receive quality education that is globally


competitive, and to develop productive and responsible citizens equipped with essential
competencies, skills and values for both lifelong learning and employment.

B. TEACHERS

Help every teacher to make his or her teaching and work easy, fast and reliable. To
connect teachers with professional learning so they can create and employ meaningful
and engaging strategies where ICT is integral to learning. To build partnerships between
schools and school communities to broaden learning opportunities, foster collaboration
and advance lifelong learning.

3. Unavailability of internet connection to some schools
4. System errors during encoding of LRN and BEIS-EBEIS

VI. RECOMMENDATIONS

School heads should find way on how to avail their own internet connectivity
in their respective schools and try to update themselves with the online programs of
the DepEd.

DepEds’ Program on securing LRN and DepEd Email Account of Teachers


should be religiously implemented and followed.

They should also double their effort to secure their DCP packages in order to
avoid lost and damages of the items.
