Pengaruh Pemberian Buah Strawberry Terhadap Kadar Asam Urat

Abstrak

Asam urat merupakan suatu penyakit yang ditandai dengan serangan


mendadak, berulang dan disertai dengan artritis yang terasa sangat nyeri karena
adanya endapan monosodium urat yang terkumpul didalam sendi sebagai akibat
dari tingginya kadar asam urat dalam darah atau disebut hiperurisemia. Untuk
menurunkan kadar asam urat bisa diatasi dengan terapi non-farmakologis salah
satunya dengan mengkonsumsi buah strawberry. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui adakah pengaruh pemberian buah strawberry terhadap kadar asam
urat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh buah strawberry
terhadap kadar asam urat. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif,
dengan rancangan Quasy-Experiment menggunakan Pre And Post Test With
Control Group. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling, jumlah sampel
sebanyak 36 responden.
Hasil analisa uji paired t test kadar asam urat pada kelompok intervensi
sebelum dan sesudah pemberian buah strawberry denga nilai p value 0,000 < 0,05,
maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemberian buah strawberry
terhadap kadar asam urat.

Effect of Administration of Strawberry Fruit on Uric Acid Level

Abstract

Uric acid is a disease marked by a sudden and recurrent attack


accompanied with arthritis, which is very painful due to monosodium urate
deposit in joints as a result of the high uric acid in blood known as
hyperuricemia. To reduce the uric acid level can be done with pharmacological
therapies, and one of which is by consuming strawberry fruit. The objective of this
fruit is to investigate the effect of administration of strawberry fruit on uric acid
level.
This research used the quantitative quasi experimental research method
with pre-test and post-test with control group design. Total sampling was used to
determine its samples. The samples consisted of 36 respondents. They were
divided into two groups, intervention group and control group. The data of the
research were analyzed by using the paired t-test.
The result of the paired t test shows that the p-value of the uric acid level
of the intervention group prior to and following the administration of strawberry
fruit was 0.000 which was less than0.05, meaning that the administration of
strawberry fruit had an effect on the uric acid level.
