MASTERTRAN™ Hydraulic / Transmission Oil (MAT-3505)
A unique, all-weather hydraulic/transmission fluid
MASTERTRAN is, quite simply, the finest hydraulic/transmission
fluid we make. MASTERTRAN is recommended in the operator
manuals of many of our newer high-horsepower equipment. It
enhances your brake and clutch capabilities while helping to reduce
brake chatter, clutch slippage and wear, and final drive wear.
MASTERTRAN fluid is designed for use in an ambient temperature
range of -20˚ to +120˚F (-30˚ to +50˚C).

MULTI G 134 is a multipurpose fluid that has been
recommended in New Holland and Ford operator manuals
for many years. It’s recommended for current low- and
medium-horsepower tractors and loader backhoes. It helps
ensure the best performance of your transmission, PTO clutches,
wet brakes and hydraulic system. Unique friction modifiers
suppress wet brake chatter, ensuring maximum stopping power
and brake life. Superior anti-wear additives reduce pitting on
critical gear surfaces. Oxidation inhibitors keep sludge from
forming and keep the oil flowing to critical parts. MULTI G 134
is compatible with commonly used seal and gasket materials.
This helps reduce oil leaks from seals that can harden, shrink
or swell — extending seal life.

F200A Multi-Season Hydraulic / 

Transmission Fluid (MAT-3526)
F200A is a multipurpose, cold-weather hydraulic/transmission
fluid that can be used when your operator manual recommends
134, but improved low-temperature capabilities are needed
(below 10˚F/-12˚C). In addition to improved low-temperature
capabilities, F200A Multi-Season Hydraulic Oil provides
the reliability of 134 at high temperatures, so there’s no need
to remove this fluid during the summer months.

MULTI BIO Biodegradable
Hydraulic / Transmission Fluid
MULTI BIO is a biodegradable hydraulic/transmission fluid
currently approved for New Holland T6000, T7000, TL, TM, TN,
TS and Genesis 70 series tractors, along with CX combines. This
biosynthetic-based 10W-30 fluid exceeds several governmental
biodegradability and ecocompatibility requirements, with
biodegradability exceeding 90%, including OECD 201/202/

To meet the performance demands of today’s tough off-road
environments, your equipment is generating more usable horse-

filter life. Today’s low-emission engine designs make engine
filtration extremely critical, especially particles in the 5- to 10-
micron range, which are most damaging to modern engines.

Our filters are designed to trap more of the small contaminants that are
most damaging to diesel engines. The media is uniformly resin-impregnated
and heat-cured to provide efficient filtration, while resisting the effects of
moisture. The media used in many of our newer filters combine microglass 2
and cellulose fibers for doubled efficiency over standard filters.

Many filter manufacturers use cardboard seals at the ends of the filters;
cardboard seals can deteriorate or leak. Our filters use a thin piece of rubber
that provides a tight, even seal at the base of the filter. It prevents unfiltered
oil from bypassing the filter media and re-entering your system.

Air Filtration
Your engine is equipped with an air cleaner housing with filter
elements, integral precleaner and intake ducting. All perform
a certain function. For example, the intake ducts deliver air
to the precleaner, which takes out 75-94% of the heavy,
coarse dust, before air reaches the primary element in the air
cleaner housing. Dust that reaches the primary element has a
far greater chance of entering your engine if you’re not using
genuine CNH Original Parts filters.

 Cheaper products have costlier consequences

As diesel engines operate, vibration of the cylinders creates microscopic bubbles in

the coolant that attach to the cylinder liners. These bubbles can implode with a force
of over 15,000 PSI. This collapse can blast small holes in the cylinder liner. Without
the protection of a heavy-duty coolant, the result is liner cavitation.
Over time, liner cavitation can allow coolant to enter the engine oil. This compromises
the lubrication of the engine oil and results in excess friction, which ultimately leads
to engine failure. Many competitive coolants don’t provide adequate protection against
this. XHD offers superior liner cavitation protection by covering internal parts with an
oxide film that takes the abuse of implosions to avoid premature engine failure.

TAKING SAMPLES
Using Systemgard Fluid Analysis for regular sampling and Trend
Analysis (monitoring test data over an extended period of time)
will provide the information you need to continually maximize asset
reliability and, ultimately, increase company profits.
Samples should be taken while the systems are operating under
normal conditions or immediately after shutdown while they are still
at operating temperature. Samples should also be taken at regularly
