Dear Mr. or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of English Teacher for the Language Centre, as advertised
on the Facebook page ELTeCS Peru. I have six years of experience as an educator and on the last
three years of my career, I have specialised on Secondary level – from third to fifth – and adults.

As a graduate from Federico Villarreal University, I have the appropriate level of knowledge in
terms of methodologies, techniques and strategies, having finished on the upper third of my
class.

Also, throughout my experience I have gained a deep insight into what is required by learners to
improve their understanding of such a language as English. I have also attended to educational
workshops and pedagogical courses.

Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to prepare students for the ESOL – Cambridge
examinations with successful results.

Currently, I am working for Britanico as a teacher in the levels or cycles Juniors, Basic and
Intermediate which has also permitted me to acquire more knowledge of the Active Learning
method.

Therefore, I consider myself to be suitable for the position of English Teacher in your prestigious
institution and I also hope to contribute actively with my experience and knowledge.
