SPEECH OF GRATITUDE

“TO TEACHERS”

I need to tell you something. Thank you. Thank you for your diligence and hard
work to prepare us for the future. Thank you for giving us the chance to succeed,
for pushing us harder, and for showing to us how to correct our mistakes,
especially our grammar, intonation, how to speak clearly, and most of all, you
teach us how to hold our shyness and become more confidence individual.

Thank you for your patience and love and support for us who have in special
needs and the ones who just have needs. Thank you for the countless hours you
spend prepping and planning. Teachers like you, amaze me every day.

Thank you MAAM for giving us courage to try to deliver every speech you require
for us, even most of us have a problem in speaking clearly, have a problem in
grammar, especially my co-civil engineering classmates who are lack of
experience in speaking in front of many people, just like on our first experience in
speaking in front, we are very very nervous that our knees are going to trembled,
our hand are very cold and our lips are becomes white, but because of this, we
have now experience the feeling of a speaker if he or she will going to have a
speech, what he feel, and what he are going to do, and because of this in every
meeting, we must be well prepared so that we could deliver our speech happily
and peacefully.

Finally, Thank you Maam, you made us a better person for now. I believe of what
William Arthur Ward said that “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher
explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”

And the last word that I say is “Teaching is the profession that teaches all the
other professions.”

Thank you Maam. 
