LIVEFEST 2019 ELYSIUM WITH AGSUNTA, CUESHE AND MIGZ

In this year’s HNU Days finale, 2 national bands performed together with a pop
star musical artist. Last February 16, 2019, the event was held in the HNU OVAL
starting off from the local bands to the major guests. Students were enjoying the night
as they sang and danced along with the beat of the drums. There was a splash of colors
from the lights and LED Screen on stage. Along with the fun, was the foam blasters,
that the crowd loudly enjoyed.

Of all events held by the school, this event was the most awaited. In this event,
there was major student involvement. The CSG has come up with the decision, that
whoever (student) buys the ticket, the expense is consumable to their total fines
accumulated for the week. Hence, given that advantage, students were convinced to
purchase a ticket. This event also is not strictly for Holynamians only, since this is an
open to all event. The tickets are even available to Alumni,Outsiders, VIP and SVIP.
Everyone gets the chance to witness how HNU celebrates the years of abundance. It is
also a way to invite students from different schools to experience the University on
another level. It is very much an edge, to be able to give others an experience of how it
feels like to be here.

HNU DAYS ESPORT LEAGUE

Apart from the many events lined-up for entertainment in this year’s celebration,
the Esport League has caught the attention of many students, especially the gamers
who enjoy all kinds of fun brought about by amazing online games. The thrill that is
given to the students is different. Especially that, the determination of the official games
to play was done on a Facebook poll, where students get to choose what games they
would want to participate in.

The reason why I think this is a good marketing strategy of a competition is that it
is something unique. Not all schools in Tagbilaran City or in Bohol can be able to host
such a big activity. This only proves that the university has enough equipment, space,
materials and power to be able to realize this. Now what makes it more special is that
this event has been shared, liked and reacted to by many students, from all over Bohol,
including non-Holynamians who somehow felt unfortunate that they are missing out on
something fun and that they wish, their schools can be able to host such excitement.
With the approval of the Administration, together with the efforts of our student leaders,
they were able to come up with interesting events not just for Holynamians but for all.
