How to install centos in Dual Boot or with VM

1. Downloading ISO image


 The first thing that you need to do to Install CentOS 7 is to download
CentOS 7 from the CentOS website:
https://www.centos.org/download/

 Choose the version of CentOS that you will need


2. Downloading RUFUS for making Pan drive Bootable

 Rufus can be downloadable from the website


https://rufus.ie/

 After downloading open Rufus


 Select the ISO image

 Select device and partition scheme


 Click on Start & Wait for the complete process
3. Providing Unallocated space
 Open disk management using diskmgmt.msc command in run

 Right click on the drive you want to shrink

 Enter the amount of space required for installation of centos


 Unallocated space will be indicated in black color
4. Turn off Secure Boot
 Restart the computer and press F5 key to open bios menu

 Go to Security menu with help of arrow key & go to secure boot and
disable it
5. Boot from pan drive & Installation
 Insert the bootable media , boot menu will be appeared select the Install
CentOS7

 Press enter to begin the installation process


 Choose the language and keyboard layout

 Select the installation destination


 Click on begin installation

 Set the root password by selecting it


 Click on done

 Create a user
 Click on done

 Click on reboot to restart the system


 Select the user and enter credentials
