Description: Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU) has seen the future and it
works -- powered by electricity. The company is the largest nonregulated retail electric
provider in Texas (TXU Energy), with 2.1 million customers, and through its Luminant
unit it has a generating capacity of almost 15,430 MW from its interests in nuclear and
fossil-fueled power plants in the state. Energy Future Holdings has regulated power
transmission and distribution operations through 80%-owned Oncor Electric Delivery.
Oncor operates the largest regulated distribution and transmission system in Texas,
providing power to more than 3.1 million electric delivery points over more than 118,000
miles of transmission and distribution lines.

It’s a Production Control/Support Data Management project. The project deals with data
maintenance and data administration in Production environments. The EFH-Oncor team
is responsible for providing continuous Production Operations and
Scheduling support for all mainframe applications which includes all front ends and
middleware interfacing with the mainframe.
Roles & Responsibilities

products in the united states and canada.In DBI major products are Books,DVD’s and
online music sites. We maintain the Mainframe infrastructure remotely for various data
centres spread across US and Canada.

Applications running in this Dixon’s project. Out of which 54 applications are running on
Mainframes.
