Meet the Gen Z

Generation Z or “Gen Z” refers to the generation that was born between 1996 -

Present day. They have been acknowledged as the most technologically advanced

generation.

What sets apart Generation Z from the others? It is their access to advance

technology. From an early age, most of them already know how to operate gadgets

such as cellphones, tablets and computers, like learning how to read and write, if

technology is introduced in an early age, it will be easier to learn how operate said

technology and master its features. Combined with gadgets, Generation Z also had the

internet to help them. Through the internet, we can gather new information with a single

click or tap. We are learning everyday through social media platforms, we can search

news or articles online, and we can also follow certain influencers that help us to

improve our lifestyle. The internet can also be used to communicate and make new

friends all over the world.

In a generation where almost everything is provided in an instant, we tend to get

frustrated when we have to wait. Also, Generation Z has been known to have a shorter

attention span. We easily get bored and get tired of things that are too repetitive. In

conclusion, our generation has its positives and negatives that make us who we are.
