SIR ISAAC NEWTON (1642-1727) The motion of an object is completely

determined by its mass and the net force acting

upon it.

THIRD LAW OF MOTION

 LAW OF ACTION AND REACTION

For every action, there is an equal and opposite
reaction.

Interacting bodies exert forces on each other.

FIRST LAW OF MOTION

 LAW OF INERTIA
A body at rest or in the state of uniform motion
will remain at rest or in uniform motion, unless
acted upon by a net external force.

SECOND LAW OF MOTION

 LAW OF ACCELERATION
The acceleration of an object is equal to the net
force applied to it, divided by its mass.
