OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
1. To develop speaking abilities, encouraging students to make suggestions, providing
solutions
2. To give practice to fluent reading and pronunciation;
3. To develop logical thinking through writing and speaking and reading

LESSON AIMS: By the end of the lesson students will be able to:
1. Listen for specific information, table filling
2. Read for gist, details and specific information.
3. Write an essay-providing solutions to problems
TECHNIQUES: reading and listening for specific information, matching paragraphs to
pictures, speaking upon pictures.

ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: students may find difficult to choose appropriate vocabulary
or grammar constructions in order to express themselves
