The TUP Cavite campus is located in Barangay Salawag, Dasmarinas City, Cavite. The

campus was established through Board Resolution No. 1985, s. 1979. The Cavite

campus was established with the primary aim of training technicians and skilled workers

for gainful employment and income generation particularly in the CALABARZON area.

At present, the academic offerings of the campus are focused on 3-year technology

courses, bachelor's and masters degree programs.

The researchers understand that TUPC doesn’t have a Cloud-based Learning

Management System (Ex. DLSUD SchoolBook), from the concept of EDU 2.0: a

Flexible, Cloud-based Learning Management System, they want to create a platform

enables schools and universities to take advantage of a number of features, including

curricula creation tools, lesson planning, attendance checks, and more. All of which can

also be tracked and measured using built-in analytics, helping teachers to visualise

progress of individuals and groups.

According to research of Freddie Truman of Negosentro, Online learning is becoming

increasingly popular across campuses. As early as elementary school, students can

choose to attend classes online instead of stepping onto a brick and mortar campus.

That shift in educational style has the potential to impact everything from how

kindergarten is taught to the intensity of a college-level course. Taking education online

has a number of key advantages, many of which have helped to revolutionize the

process of learning for many individuals.

Online learning is often more affordable than learning inside a classroom–including

libraries of free lectures and other materials.

Online learning is self-paced, allowing students to learn at their own speed instead of

being held to the speed of the class.

Taking class online removes the need to be in a brick and mortar classroom, which

makes education more accessible to everyone. As online learning becomes

increasingly popular, its impact on education as a whole continues to increase. For

example, online learning increases the necessity for technological efficiency. Students

must be able to effectively use online platforms and learning tools in order to access

information, attend virtual classes, and turn in assignments. It also helps to shape the

future of education in a number of other ways.

By using the proposed E-Learning Management System For The Students And

Teachers of TUPC, the teacher can make an exam, quiz, seatwork, or assignment in

the website just with an internet connection. While the students can take the exam

online and view their grades. Another feature is the adding of subjects by the student in

the website. In the subjects, the teacher can view the students who are enrolled in their

class.
