How to choose university in Japan?

Find out the list in the Internet!

The points are:

- Choose university which has strongly related to

your background study or your future study (in
case, your future study is cross-section with the
previous ones).

- Look at the record to your home university, it

will be better if there any u to u cooperation
between both.

- University rank is sometimes important, but

don't stick too much at this. If it is possible, just
choose university rank that greater than previous
ones (optional).

Japan's Study
Characteristic
(Master & PhD)
– Sensei-Research-Laboratory Based

– Master 2 years, PhD 3 years study period

– Additional 6 months for RS (depend on univ.and

sensei).

– RS's activity : attend to the lab, help sensei, prepare

research proposal/project, nihon-go class, etc.

– RS's goal : Interview, entrance exam. Mostly related to

your research study and motivation gaining S2.

– Sensei is person in charge who fully dene your passing

exam.

– For master, 9 subject lecture which mostly aim at the 1st

year. Hence, the 2nd year focus on writing thesis and
seminar, graduate.

– Apparently, research project (thesis) start from the

1styear or since you're ofcially student/RS.

How to choose Program/Major study?

– Choose the program that strongly related to your

background or future study.

– More deeply, choose the major which strongly

related to your research study.

– Sometimes, each major has laboratory prole. Find

out more about sensei's prole and its publication.

background or research interest? That's the right
major for you!

– Do not make such keen-design, just make the
