Capiz Schools Division conducted three day journalism training at MVW Hotel, Roxas City on July 24-26, 2019. The activity aimed to capacitate new school paper advisers and to upgrade the skills of the division journalism trainers on the technical rules of campus journalism. Dr. Merlie Rubio, Division In charge of campus journalism said that Capiz was inspired of last year’s leap in the regional ranking, thus Capiz SDO decided to start the training this school year. “We will give out our best effort to maintain or improve our regional ranking – with God, we are assured of fulfilling our dream,” she further said. Meanwhile, Dr. Roel Bermejo, Schools Division Superintendent challenged the Division Pool of Trainers to win in the national level.
