8. LONGITUDINAL SECTION
9. ROOF PLAN
10. SCHEDULE OF DOORS AND WINDOWS
Present an improved version of architectural drawings. It must fit in a short bond
paper (8 ½” X 11”) when printed. Show scale using metric units thru graphs showing
1.00m X 1.00m square grid / dimension of each square. Lay a graph in the floor
plan including the whole property lot. And instead of numerical or number scale,
show scale bar in every page, or every drawing. Scale bar is also known as linear
scale, scale guide or graphic scale. Using square grids and scale bar is
advantageous, as it will maintain its accuracy even when you resize the paper for
printing. In these drawings, remember to keep the harmony and real representation
of each drawings to actual materials. For example: if the vertical lines of metal sheets
for exterior walls are shown, therefore, it should also be projected exactly in the
Elevation Drawings, same through with the actual details of doors, windows, and
others.
MT-01-B SHAPING INTERIOR OF A HOUSING UNIT
DATE DUE: SEPTEMBER 18, 2019
In shaping interior of a housing unit, it will cover the structuring space with interior design elements. The term
“structure” is not used here in the sense of physical support, but it refers to the selection and arrangement of
interior elements such that their visual relationships define and organize the interior space of a room. Non-load-
bearing partitions and suspended ceilings are often used to define or modify space within the structural
framework or shell of a building. The color, texture, and pattern of wall, floor, and ceiling surfaces affect our
perception of their relative positions in space and our awareness of the room’s dimensions, scale, and
proportion.
In this requirement, submit design translations manipulating text, written explanations, photos, images and
graphical presentations with annotations. For the group designers to explore ways and possibilities, the design
proposal will be executed through POWERPOINT PRESENTATION. To add excitement while learning, each
group will present their works in class to add training and overview in oral presentation and defense.
IMPORTANT:
This group requirement suggests a collaborative effort and teamwork. Take note of the enumerated requirements
above. This requirement will also serve greatly as a guide for the Second Year Visual Techniques 3 Students.
