Recreational Activities

We people have our own different ways of having fun


and unwinding ourselves, this act of having fun and
enjoyment is called “Recreation”.

Recreation can help us forget about our stress and


relieve all our worries. It helps us to remember the joys in
life and helps us to express ourselves as unique
individuals.

Recreation is divided into four categories:


- Music and Arts
-Sports and Fitness
-Outdoor activities
-Technology and Indoor activities

Let’s tackle each of these categories one by one.

Music and Arts


- this kind of recreation focuses mainly on hobbies related
to musical or artistic expressions. Some good examples are
singing, drawing painting, poem writing and dancing
Sports and Fitness
-this kind of recreation focuses on mainly on physical
activities that help in strengthening both body and mind.
Some good examples are Basketball, Track and Field,
Volleyball, Swimming and Volleyball

Outdoor Activities
-this kind of recreation focuses on activities that have a lot
to do with exploring the great outdoors and experiencing
the wonder of nature.

Technology and Indoor activities


-this kind of activities focus mainly on passive games and
activities like board games, card games and digital
activities like social media and browsing the internet.
