Residential 2019-2020
Our staff have been working hard to plan the class residentials ensuring that costs are kept
to a minimum but interest and excitement high.
Class 4 plan to go to Min-Y-Don in North Wales Wednesday 18th March returning on the
Friday.
Class 3 plan to go to Beeston on 11th March
Class 2 will once again visit Forest Camp, Year 1 for the day and year 2 overnight on 25th
June.
Final costs are still to be confirmed, but we are very aware of keeping costs to a minimum.
Thank you to the dedication of staff to allow such opportunities to take place.

Responsibilities National Thank a TA day

Congratulations to our pupils who have been elected to
represent our school on the school council. This year
we will have Isaac, Eva T, Zac, Natasha, Lucy, Sonny,
Joey and Thomas M, supporting our school and fighting
for improvements and developments. Mrs. Jones will
certainly have her work cut out.
Monday 16th September is
National TA day. Our school TAs
shall enjoy a quiet lunch time with
some treats and peace to
recognize their hard work. It is a
privilege to have such dedicated
and skillful adults in our school
supporting the children to be the
best that they can be.
 Young Voices
The letters have gone out for this year’s
Young Voices Choir at MEN Arena. This half term’s Christian Values are:-
This is such a popular event. Friendship, Wisdom and Koinonia
Please do not hesitate to pop in if you have This half term’s British Value is
any concerns, but we are hoping to take Tolerance of others
everyone who wants to go for a fabulous
evening of song and dance.
Dodgeball Reps

Our school bible verse Ben H, Rufus and Hannah will be going to
Helsby High School next week to become
‘Believe in the light dodgeball leaders.

Whole School Zoo Visit

We have been lucky enough to secure free tickets to Chester
Zoo and will have a whole school day out in January 2020.
What a way to bring in the New Year. This trip will replace
our usual PANTO visit in January. We would only require
contributions for the travel expenses.
I am quite sure there will be plenty of giggles and laughter
with the animals. Big thanks to Mrs Raynor for persevering
to source the free tickets.
Free Manchester United Tickets
A letter has been sent out about school
receiving a limited number of
complimentary tickets for Manchester
United’s midweek games.
19th September Vs FC Antara Europa Cup
25th September Vs Rochdale Carabao Cup.

Scholastic Book Bus

On Friday 27th September we will be welcoming a book bus from Scholastic Book Company. Children will be able
to visit the bus to see all the new and exciting books available to buy or add to their Christmas lists.
There will also be an opportunity for parents to visit the bus to purchase children’s books. The bus will be at
school from 8am to approx. 4pm. A great opportunity to start the Christmas shopping with stocking fillers.
