September 2019 Newsletter

Residential 2019-2020
Our staff have been working hard to plan the class residentials ensuring that costs are kept
to a minimum but interest and excitement high.
Class 4 plan to go to Min-Y-Don in North Wales Wednesday 18th March returning on the
Friday.
Class 3 plan to go to Beeston on 11th March
Class 2 will once again visit Forest Camp, Year 1 for the day and year 2 overnight on 25th
June.
Final costs are still to be confirmed, but we are very aware of keeping costs to a minimum.
Thank you to the dedication of staff to allow such opportunities to take place.

Responsibilities National Thank a TA day


Congratulations to our pupils who have been elected to Monday 16th September is
represent our school on the school council. This year National TA day. Our school TAs
we will have Isaac, Eva T, Zac, Natasha, Lucy, Sonny, shall enjoy a quiet lunch time with
Joey and Thomas M, supporting our school and fighting some treats and peace to

Young Voices
The letters have gone out for this year’s
Young Voices Choir at MEN Arena. This half term’s Christian Values are:-

Dodgeball Reps

Whole School Zoo Visit


We have been lucky enough to secure free tickets to Chester Free Manchester United Tickets
Zoo and will have a whole school day out in January 2020. A letter has been sent out about school
What a way to bring in the New Year. This trip will replace receiving a limited number of
our usual PANTO visit in January. We would only require complimentary tickets for Manchester
contributions for the travel expenses. United’s midweek games.
I am quite sure there will be plenty of giggles and laughter
with the animals. Big thanks to Mrs Raynor for persevering 19th September Vs FC Antara Europa Cup
to source the free tickets. 25th September Vs Rochdale Carabao Cup.

Scholastic Book Bus


On Friday 27th September we will be welcoming a book bus from Scholastic Book Company. Children will be able
to visit the bus to see all the new and exciting books available to buy or add to their Christmas lists.
There will also be an opportunity for parents to visit the bus to purchase children’s books. The bus will be at
school from 8am to approx. 4pm. A great opportunity to start the Christmas shopping with stocking fillers.
