Dear Parents/Guardians,

Junior School Science Laboratory

One provision that I consider to be extremely important for the modernization of the Junior
School and to bring it up to the standard of a first class International school is the creation of
a Science Laboratory.

I do understand that this has been proposed many times before but the initiatives have always
failed to come to fruition.

I am sure you are aware that there have been many changes to the Junior School since the
beginning of the new academic year and I am determined that the building of a new science
classroom will be another positive change as we upgrade the school facilities.

The school has had a very generous offer from a sponsor who has promised the school that
they will provide all the equipment needed for the laboratory when the building has been
completed.

The building of the new classroom will be covered by the school and fundraising events but it
would be extremely valuable to us if you could pledge materials or funds to help start the
project. The sooner the building is started the sooner the students will be able to enjoy the
new facilities.

The proposed plan for the new building is displayed on the Parents Notice Board.
