This article focuses on the composing process and writing skills and It looks that L1 strategies
may be transfer to the L2 in the writing process. The main aim or idea with this article seems to
be to take a look to students that have lower proficiency at writing skills. As a result, techniques
and tools are provided so we as a teachers adequate this strategies to improve the L2 writing
skill.

study of 16 Chinese writers.” Journal of Second Language Writing, Vol. 11(3),
225-246.

Wang and Wen’s article describe a study done to some students in how L1 use is affected by L2
proficiency and writing skills.
