Neldine: in today’s segment, we invited different successful artists to


discuss and teach us different tips on how to boost our self-esteem.

Nicole: yup that’s right, this topic is very timely especially for our viewers
who are commonly teenagers.

Neldine: okay, without further ado, let us call our special guests, Kiana
Ramos

Neldine: Hi, welcome to our show.

Kiana: Thankyou for inviting us, it is really a pressure to discuss things like
this in your show.

Nicole: Okay let us now start. Mark, can you share with us your tips on how
you successfully boost your self-esteem.

Mark: Okay there are 3 tips I can share with you that helped me boost my
self esteem.

First Tip is to Relax, don’t stress yourself. Relax by doing something that
you really love. For example, ako whenever I get stressed about
something, I take a break and do things that I really love, like basketball.
Despite my busy schedule I still find time to relax because relaxing and not
stressing myself helped me boost my self-esteem because whenever I’m
relaxed I feel really good about myself.

Second tip is to smile more often. Mahalaga saken yung pagsmile kase
feeling ko pag nakasmile ako, everything will turn out good and feeling ko
nakakacute yung lagging naka smile kaya smile lang tayo palagi  for us to
feel better about ourselves.

Last tip is to stay active. Kagaya na lang ng pag rerelax, I always make
sure na despite my busy schedule I find time to do some work out or play
basketball because I feel good when I exercise and on top of that, syempre
we want to make sure that we are healthy para mas maboost naten yung
self-esteem naten.

Neldine: Next we have Kiana, sharing her tips on how she successfully
overcome her low self-esteem.

Kiana: Hello everyone, let me share with you tips on how I conquer my fear
with my self-esteem.
Tip number 1: Surround yourself with a supportive squad. I think one of
the major factors that helped me overcome my shyness is my friends. They
helped, motivated and guided to become who I am today. They let me
understand how important self-esteem is lalo na dito sa field of work naten
and lagi sila nandyan with me in everything that I do and because of them I
outgrown my shyness.

Tip number 2: Do what makes you happy. Kasi I believe na pag gusto mo
yung ginagawa mo mas nagiging proud ka sa sarili mo. Mas proud ka sa
kinakalabasan ng gagawin mo kasi passionate ka don e. and I think that is
one of a good way to boost your self-esteem.

Tip number 3: Don’t allow mistakes to stop you from trying. Sometimes
kase in our generation, pag nagkamali tayo, feeling naten tapos na, nay un
na yon, but no, Mistakes are portals of great discoveries and ultimately part
of our success story. I think nobody became successful without making
mistakes.

Neldine: That’s very inspirational, Thankyou Kiana. Next we have Princess


Cruz to share with us her tips on how to boost our self-esteem.

Princess: Hello Good Morning! Okay here are my tips on how I boosted my
self- esteem.

First, Read Something Inspirational: I think this is the first step in


boosting your self-esteem. Read books and articles that uplift you and
make you feel positive. In this way, mamomotivate ka kasi dapat yung
mindset mo is kung kaya nila, kaya mo din.

Second, Celebrate the Small stuff, if u achieve something, whether big or


small, celebrate it. Kase celebrating stuff will make you more proud about
yourself.

Third, focus on what you can change, don’t stress over things you can’t
control. Wag na naten dagdagan pa yung mga problema naten. Be
optimistic and smile because that will surely boost your self-esteem.
Nicole: Thankyou for that inspirational suggestions. Those are 9 tips in
total, but Neldine has another tip to share.

Neldine: Thanks Nicole, I think I can share one more tip for you guys. And it
is the saying “Nobody is perfect.” Kase in real life nobody is naman
talaga, kahit si Angelina Jolie pa yan, may flaws din yan. But one thing I
can assure is, if u embrace your flaws and accept it, nobody can use it
against u. for example, I accepted the fact that I am morena, if people
would hate me and say mean things about my complexion, I wouldn’t be
affected because in the first place, tanggap ko naman e. that’s why we
should embrace our flaws.
